|Court Ramsay began riding at age 11 in Lafayette, Louisiana. Active in Pony Club as a youth, competing, teaching, and organizing, Court was exposed to many accomplished horsemen during Pony Club - General Johnathon Burton, Dr. Patricia Maykuth, Evelyn Thorndike. He earned his Pony Club "A" in 1986.
From early 80's to mid 80's he trained under Jim Graham and campaigned a number of horses up to the Intermediate level.
In 1986 Court was accepted to USET Training session under Jack LeGoff. Later that year he was invited into the Rider Development Program of USET and became a resident rider under the tutelage of Jack LeGoff, in South Hamilton, Massachusetts. He stayed under Jack’s instruction as a resident rider until 1989.
Court competed at the Advanced level from the late 80's into the early 90's. He was long listed for both the World Games in 1990 and Olympics in 1992.
In 1992, he was ranked 8th Internationally at the Advanced Level, and “Stateside” finished 3rd in Land Rover - “Horse of the Year” at the Advanced Level.
Court continued his education throughout this time with Jack LeGoff and such notable professionals as Jimmy Wofford, Julie Ulrich, Donnan Dupont, and Derek DiGrazia.
He started Pharview Stables with wife, Kylie, in 1999 and has been coaching dedicated riders since the formation of the stable. He has brought along young horses for sale and retrained spoiled mounts for clients.
Court still enjoys competing in Dressage and Hunter/Jumper. His students and horses have been very sucessful regionally and nationally (Eventing, Dressage, and Hunter/Jumpers) in all three rings.
