| Kylie Ramsay, a sixth generation horsewoman, started riding at age 3. She was galloping cross country at a very young age. Chasing sheep and cattle were a daily routine for Kylie at Gunningrah, an 8000 acre station in New South Wales, Australia. Eventing was inevitable.
At twelve years old Kylie competed D Grade Show Jumping (3'6") throughout Australia. As a teenager she evented successfully to the Intermediate level. At 18, she represented the state of Victoria at Nationals in Show Jumping as an A Grade Pony Clubber.
She came to Arizona, USA, in her early teens and again in her twenties and trained with Andrew Popiel. She also spent time in Middleburg VA where she foxhunted, trained horses, and farm managed for Alice Suhr.
Kylie met Court Ramsay when eventing at the Trojan Horse HT, Arizona in 1990. They formed a partnership and traveled the US eventing circuit for the next few years. In 1994 they settled in Court's hometown of Lafayette, LA. Five years later they founded Pharview Stables.
Most recent achievements: 2007 Kylie was ranked 9th in the nation at Training level; 2006 she was 4th Novice level at the AEC's in North Carolina.
Today Kylie mostly rides for fun. Her horse partner is Bally Whatnot. She especially enjoys being a show mom for her 3 children- Calvin, Elsa, & Abigail.
